Miranda Berry is the Medical Assistant for our medical spa, Directional Wellness.
A former Active-Duty Combat Army Medic, she has over 20 years of experience in the medical field. Miranda has worked alongside Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons in her previous work, assisted in Labor & Delivery, and taught Medical Assisting classes on college campuses.
Miranda is passionate about helping people heal & feel their best. While working in the mainstream medical field, she felt that many patients were not fully heard by their practitioners and got lost in the shuffle. Now, working alongside our doctors, she’s able to spend more time with her patients, giving them the best care & working with them to create a healthier and more vibrant life.
With our practice more focused on functional medicine, Miranda enjoys growing her knowledge of hormones & digging deeper into extensive lab work. She loves watching the results we get to help our patients achieve with simple but effective treatment.
Miranda is married to her husband Auke and has two children, Haleigh and Trevor, who are very involved in the local rodeo scene. She loves being a rodeo mom and helping her children reach their goals & dreams.
Dr. Querry studied at UNT and UNT Health Science Center, completing her internship at Dallas–Fort Worth Medical Center and her residency at UNT Health Science Center. Though she originally intended to become a Forensic Pathologist, she quickly discovered she preferred caring for the living far more than studying the dead.
Today, Dr. Querry is a certified Functional Medicine Practitioner through IFM, a distinction that reflects her commitment to whole-body healing and root-cause wellness. She is especially passionate about hormonal balance, gut health, metabolic optimization, and evidence-based lifestyle medicine. In her work at CopperLeaf, she blends her clinical expertise with a deeply personalized approach, offering advanced care in disease prevention, hormone optimization, bio-identical hormone therapy, and aesthetics/anti-aging. As a BioTE Legacy Partner—one of BioTE’s highest honors—she is dedicated to helping her patients live vibrantly, confidently, and in optimal health.
Outside the office, Dr. Querry loves traveling and spending time with her husband, Payton, and their three children—Alexandra, Ryan, and Will. She enjoys baking and cheering on her kids at their sports games. A lover of all things history (especially the American Civil War, British monarchy, and WWII), she is also a self-proclaimed Forensic Files junkie—she has seen every single episode. And fun fact: she’s a proud mom of Irish twins!
With a corporate sales background in one of the largest candy companies in the world, Cheryl stepped into entrepreneurship knowing how to take care of people, and how to do it well.
In 2005, she opened CopperLeaf after completely renovating an old downtown building. As the spa grew, she added two adjacent buildings, creating space for a full salon, esthetics department & our medical spa, Directional Wellness.
In January 2023, Cheryl made the decision to step away from the CopperLeaf side of the business and devote herself fully to Directional Wellness. Her passion has always been wellness & helping people achieve the most vibrant level of health possible.
While it's bittersweet for her, after 17+ years with CopperLeaf, she's thrilled to have left the business in the hands of her long-time manager, Ashlen Day, and is excited to see the future unfold!
When Cheryl's not at work, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband & family and supporting local Winnsboro events.
